Woven Wire Mesh

Welded Wire Mesh

• Wires are welded together at each intersection.

Crimped Wire Mesh

• Wires are crimped before weaving to lock them in place.

• Types: Single crimp, double crimp, lock crimp, flat top crimp.

Plain Weave Wire Mesh

• The simplest weave — each wire alternates over and under the adjacent wire.

Twill Weave Wire Mesh

• Wires pass over two and under two for more strength and finer mesh.

Dutch Weave Mesh

• Woven with more wires in the warp direction for filtration applications.

Expanded Metal Mesh

• A sheet of metal that’s slit and stretched into a mesh pattern — no welding or weaving.
